I bought the additional handset to give us one more portable option when in different parts of the office. I have owned this phone for my small business for many years. I have a small 2 doctor optometric practice with 3 phone lines and this phone serves all my purposes. The clarity is great and has always worked perfect for us. We do not use many of the advanced features, mainly just juggling between the 3 phones lines.
I have been really disappointed and wish I had stuck with ATT's product. I bought this phone after reading lots of reviews. We had used the ATT 2 line phone and had a good experience, but needed to add more lines to our system. I sound quality on the Panasonic handsets is really not good and one of our handsets drops calls regularly. I would probably return the system entirely if I still had the boxes.
The other limitation is despite having multiple mailbox capability, you can only have a mailbox for each phone you purchase. After using Avaya, our clinic downsized and this phone system was the answer, It works great. The drawbacks are that you cannot listen to messages from the base handset, which means the messages must be played back when no one is in ear shot. It would have been nice to be able to use a mailbox simply for directions and business hours. Overall, this is a good product.
I use this system for my office. With this handset, I can go down the hall to get my mail in my building while carrying on a conversation. Recoomend this product to anyone who needs this type of phone system.
we are very hgappy with the system. we owned the prior system for 10 years and find this nre version to be reliable, easy to use and priced right.
